Gemma Forde is a Partner in the Byrne Wallace Shields LLP Corporate Team and Head of our Galway office.

Gemma advises corporate and commercial clients and has been involved in the sale and acquisition of companies across numerous sectors.

Gemma acts for a number of corporate clients and has advised on shareholders agreements, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and venture capital and private equity investments.

Gemma has drafted and advised on professional partnership arrangements, family partnership agreements and co-ownership agreements.

Gemma also has a strong commercial property background and has acted in the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, property aspects of corporate and M&A transactions, sale and acquisition of multi property investments and commercial landlord and tenant matters.

Gemma has considerable experience in acting for several corporate and high net worth clients in the negotiation and drafting of loan debt settlement arrangements, forbearance agreements, associated asset disposals and restructuring and refinancing.

• Acted for the sellers in the sale of Harris Heating and Plumbing Limited, a company that specialises in retrofitting properties.
• Acted for the Swedish buyers, the Alcadon Group AB in the purchase of Lewralos Limited, a company that specialises in cabling infrastructure for data centres.
• Acted for KinetikIQ – Precision Sports Technology on its latest fundraise.
• Acted for EI Electronics on the Irish aspects of the acquisition of Brooks Australia.
• Acted for Quiktipz Limited as it secured an investment.
  
• Advised the Tribe Hospitality Group on its expansion into Oranmore and Barna, County Galway.
  
• Acted for Glenpatrick Natural Water Coolers Limited in the acquisition of CWS Water.
