Jennifer Clarke is a partner in the Byrne Wallace Shields LLP Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.
She is highly experienced in commercial litigation and dispute resolution and has particular expertise litigating high value commercial disputes before the High Court (including its Commercial Court division) and in appeals to the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
Jennifer acts for domestic and international companies in the commercial, banking, non-bank lending, construction and hospitality sectors. Through the processes of mediation, arbitration and negotiated terms of settlement, Jennifer has successfully resolved disputes on behalf of clients.

- Acting on behalf of financial institutions (comprising pillar banks and non-bank lenders) in prosecuting and defending complex and high value claims.
- Acting on behalf of financial institutions in relation to the enforcement of multi-million euro claims.
- Advising financial institutions on pre and post-judgment enforcement strategies including the enforcement of foreign judgments
- Acting on behalf of petitioning creditors in bankruptcy proceedings before the High Court and on appeal to the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
- Advising in regulatory investigations taken by the Central Bank.
- Acting on behalf of domestic and international corporates in contractual disputes before the High Court.
- Acting on behalf of property developers in relation to contractual disputes.
- Acting on behalf of private equity firms in relation to contractual disputes.
- Acting on behalf of licensed property owners in relation to liquor licensing requirements including bringing applications for licenses before the District and Circuit Courts.
