Seanna Mulrean s a Consultant in the Byrne Wallace Shields LLP Infrastructure, Construction and Energy Team.
Seanna has expertise in a wide range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions (in particular cross-border transactions) acting for both buyers and sellers and advising on joint ventures and corporate restructurings.
In Projects, Seanna has experience advising on transactional, developmental and regulatory matters within the energy and natural resources, transport, waste and wastewater and telecommunications sectors.
She has acted for investors and developers on the development, acquisition and disposal of numerous energy projects in Ireland. Her experience includes advising on the development of major infrastructure projects for the renewable energy sector, advising on windfarm acquisition and upgrade projects and the investment in, sale and acquisition and development of solar farm projects.
Her experience in both corporate transactions and projects means Seanna is well equipped to support clients in navigating the challenges associated with transactions and contracts in the Projects, Energy and Natural Resources space.
Experience
- Acting for Centric Health in relation to its formation of a joint venture with Irish life. The joint venture known as Carepath Connect will provide access to a new healthcare service in the community which will comprise a mix of digital and in-person care for its customers.
- Advising Shard Capital, a London-based wealth management firm, in its agreement to buy a 50 percent shareholding in Dublin-based investment technology platform Omnium.
- Acting for Randridge Holdings Limited in relation to its acquisition of consulting engineering firm, Don O’Malley and Partners.
- Acting for Helix Medical in relation to its recent investment in Cambus Teoranta, a medical devices manufacturer based in Galway. Helix Medical, which is part of the Freudenberg Group, is a global custom manufacturer for the medical device and healthcare industries.
- Acting for Egis in relation to its acquisition of NTR’s shareholding in the operation and maintenance companies, Northlink M1 Limited (Dundalk), South-link N25 Limited (Waterford) and Mid-link M7/M8 Limited (Portlaoise) and of Firstroute Limited.
- Acting for Siro in negotiating contracts for the roll out of a high-speed broadband network throughout Ireland.
- Advising US based electric energy group, Ameresco in its acquisition and upgrade of the Beale Hill Wind Farm in County Kerry.
- Acting for Veolia in negotiating contracts to operate and maintain 42.5MW combined heat and power plant in County Mayo.
