Legal Executive - Property

We are currently seeking a Legal Executive to join our Property team.  We would like to hear from you if you have the following experience:

  • Taking instructions from solicitors.
  • Acting In disposals of residential dwellings as part of the Disposals Team to include new homes and/or receiver sales.
  • Under supervision of solicitors acting in sales, preparing first draft of contract and title pack, issuing contract pack and dealing with purchasers pre-contract enquiries, exchange of contracts and completion. 
  • Liaising with the clients or third party solicitors in relation to queries, tasks or assignments. 
  • Assisting solicitors on project work including gathering and managing bulk information. Carry out legal research on cases as assigned.
  • Manage or assist in the preparation and collation of due diligence reports and trackers.
  • Liaise with clients as required by the supervising solicitor.
  • Provide support for all administration tasks as required, including photocopying, filing of correspondence and documents.
  • Handling of files post completion to include registrations in the PRAI and registry of deeds. 
  • Releasing title documents and scheduling title documents. 
  • Drafting documents as required (e.g. deeds of discharge, draft contracts).
  • Assembling booklets of title.
  • Preparing certificates of title.
  • Preparing schedules and completion and checklists.
  • Dealing with miscellaneous historical property queries.
  • Managing BW’s undertaking register and in particular historical undertakings to include procuring compliance and the discharge of undertakings. 

Requirements

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 3 years recent conveyancing/property experience ideally within a property environment.
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to use Excel and Sharepoint
  • An ability to understand and appreciate real estate practices.
  • An ability to work in a demanding environment and to handle deadlines.
  • An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Very good communications and interpersonal skills and good ability in client service.
  • A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative.
