Sale by Phoenix Technologies of its firmware (BIOS) technology business to Lenovo

We advised Phoenix Technologies on the sale of its firmware (BIOS) business to Lenovo, the world’s largest PC company. 

Lenovo and Phoenix Technologies have worked closely together for more than 20 years, with Phoenix Technologies serving as a BIOS vendor for Lenovo’s ThinkPad product line. Through this acquisition, Lenovo will bring firmware development in-house, thereby gaining greater control over one of the most critical layers of the computing experience.
