Byrne Wallace Shields LLP congratulates Nine Newly Qualified Solicitors

Byrne Wallace Shields LLP would like to congratulate our nine newly qualified solicitors who have completed their traineeships with the firm and have been admitted to the Irish Roll of Solicitors by the Law Society of Ireland. 

The nine newly qualified solicitors work across our key practice areas, and include:

  • Paudie O’Connor, Property
  • Rebecca Gahan, Corporate
  • Ciara Lennon, Employment 
  • Ella Chapman, Employment 
  • Michelle Heffernan, Employment   
  • Emma O'Hara, ICE
  • Niamh Tierney, ICE 
  • Annie Connolly, Litigation
  • Rory Johnson, Litigation 

Commenting on the news, Managing Partner Feargal Brennan said, “On behalf of my colleagues at Byrne Wallace Shields LLP, I would like to congratulate Paudie, Rebecca, Ciara, Ella, Michelle, Emma, Niamh, Annie and Rory on achieving this significant career milestone.

“The road to qualifying as a solicitor can be long and challenging at times, but hugely rewarding. We are extremely proud of these solicitors’ hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to their legal journey.”

HR Partner and Head of Property Alison O’Sullivan added, “We are delighted that our nine newly qualified solicitors have chosen to continue their career development with Byrne Wallace Shields.

“The firm places a large emphasis on supporting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We are particularly proud that this year, nearly 80% of our newly qualified solicitors are women. Four of them worked with the firm prior to their traineeships, having participated in our Intern programme and Project Homegrown, a bespoke programme that supports staff who join in support roles to transition to professional roles.
